Auberge du Pommier

This was my first French cuisine. I didn't know what to expect - I only heard that the portion is rather small :) They always participate in Toronto's Summerlicious and Winterlicious so be sure to check them out!

Overall, the food was very delicious! Each plate was like a piece of art. It was my first time to try the terrine which I enjoyed it very much (until I googled that terrine was actually fat...errrr.....). The service was excellent and the decor was very elegant. It makes a fantastic wedding venue if you are thinking to have a small and intimate wedding!

Spiced Pork Terrine (pork cretons, apple cranberry gelée, pickled vegetables, rye toast)

Venison & Beef Haché (fried egg, sweet & sour beets, sautéed spinach, horseradish & cauliflower purée)

Beignet (fried donuts, apple cider parfait, apple butter)

Cocoa brioche, chocolate marquise, cashew, blood orange coulis
